This week students learned deeply as they continued to study apples! Students became scientists as they made their predictions if the apple will sink or float. We learned that an apple can actually float! Students also did some apple tasting where they tasted a red, yellow, and green apple and decided which one was their favorite. To end our apple study, we made apple sauce. Students were eager to help out by peeling and cutting the apples. In math students practiced numbers 0-9. Students also compared numbers and found missing numbers. Students also had some more phonics practice with the letter S. In hebrew students learned the names of the body parts on the face (ex: eye, nose, ears, mouth etc..). Upcoming Events 10/16: Professional Development Day/ NO SCHOOL
10/28: Parent Teacher Conferences/Early Dismissal at 12:30 10/29: Parent Teacher Conferences/Pupil Free Day
