The students have been learning deeply about how to research topics, as each class studies various animals. Our learning process consists of meeting an unclear idea, thinking about what we already know, researching new information, and finally thinking about how to apply it. Room 65 is studying birds, while Room 66 learns about Madagascar's fossa. In preparation for this learning, each class visited the science lab to discuss the meaning of a habitat and adaptation. The children were then given an opportunity to observe (and touch!) some animals while looking at their respective habitats and/or adaptations.
