This week students were excited to visit the book fair! We have enjoyed seeing their excitement towards books! We wanted to congratulate Radin Davidi and Laila Javid for winning the bookmark contest for kindergarten!! Students had the opportunity to hear guest author Kathleen Krull speak about her love for writing. Students learned deeply about what it takes to become an author, We hope she inspired some of our students to become writers! This week we focused more on the season of fall, the letter F, and students practiced making different words that end with "all." In math, students practiced ordering things by weight. They also compared different objects and animals where they used words such as light and heavy to describe them. Students also used cubes to find all the different ways they can make numbers 2-5. Students also had practice ordering numbers 1-10 and had practice with learning one more. In Hebrew with Mrs. Katan, students are learning the names of their family members as well as different parts of the house. In Mrs. Stone's Hebrew Gan, the students practice writing the Alef -Bet. They also engaged in a conversation about the weather. Upcoming Events11/16: No School/ Professional Development
