This week students learned that there are special writing rules that they follow when they are writing such as starting a sentence with a capital letter, using spaces, and a period at the end of the sentence. In social studies, we continued learning about community. We learned about many community helpers that do great things for our community such as a doctor, mail carrier, and teacher. In math students were sorting and classifying by color, shape, size, and special features. In hebrew students continued with learning about the story of creation. They also learned about the holiday of Tu B'Shevat and all the things that trees give us. We are looking forward to a fun filled day on Monday! We read a story about different community workers.
