We are so excited to be getting close to the 100th day of school! Students started their 100 days of school book where they showed 100 in different ways. They worked on their 100 days of school book. They also made their 100th day of school crowns with 100 stickers, foam shapes, or drawings. In math we took a closer look at the one hundreds chart and started skip counting by 10s. In the next few weeks we will be focusing on numbers 20-100. In art students learned how to draw birds and in science class students started studying animals! In Mrs. Katan's hebrew class, students have been learning about creation. They learned what was created on each day and the reason for the order of creation. They continued to work in their science books as they learned about oviparous animals and observed different types of clouds. ** Don't forget to have your child return their bag with 100 items to school on Monday February 8!** We hope you're continuing to work on your 100th day of school shirt!
