We have been busy at work finishing our Pre-K journals. We have put together a lot of work throughout the year into this book and a lot of pictures of the kids during certain holidays or activities we have done throughout the year. We are still adding the finishing touches to it and the kids are extremely proud to show all their work throughout the year.
We started our countdown until the last day of school. We put a chain together and we will take a link off every day. On each link we put something we remember learning about this year. Each time we take a link off we have been having a discussion about what we have learned. The first link we took off was, “How to play with others.” We heard things such as: “It is nice to invite friends to play who look like they need friends to play with.” “It is nice to let people play when they ask to join.” “We don’t hit our friends.” “Be kind to each other.” “Share things in the classroom with others.” “Use nice words.” “Try to figure out problems together with your friends.” We look forward to a nice fun week next week.
