The fifth graders had an incredible Passover journey through four different stations! The students explored the holiday though Depth and Complexity as well as enjoyed a glass of grape juice to represent each glass of wine. In Room 40, Mrs. Fridman led a Passover Bingo game! In Room 42, Mrs. Mizrahi led the students in creating Tagul art with words and symbols related to Pesach. In Room 41, Mrs. Orevi led an unanswered questions lesson. Each student asked factual, analytical, and evaluative questions relating to the Passover holiday on post it notes. The students then chose a peer's question to answer. See some examples below! In Room 52, Mrs. Bahat led the students through mindful eating. The fifth graders enjoyed all of the foods on the Seder plate and took time to think about the significance of each item though smell, taste, and feel. Upcoming Dates:

STEAM is an approach to learning that focuses on science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics as a way to guide academic inquiry and critical thinking. STEAM experiences are embedded throughout the Wise Learning Process and include projects where one or more element of STEAM is integrated into a cohesive learning experience.
