The students began their new math unit on decimals this week. The students have been engaging in various hands on activities to enrich and enhance their experience of these new concepts and skills. In Social Studies, the fifth graders are focusing on study skills by completing a graphic organizer in groups by region on how various American Indian groups adapted to life. Soon they will embark on writing their first expository essay for the year. In Hebrew, Mrs. Fridman's class completed their projects in which they created their own verse to a popular Shabbat song and made a poster. Check out some of the students' work!
