Week of February 23, 2015 This week, during Project Studio, the students began working on the blue prints for their Children's Educational Center, which is a project inspired by the Los Angeles architect, Paul Williams. In reading, they continue to read and learn about the incredible Biddy Mason. Hebrew The students wrote their own songs about their friends. In the videos you can see some of the students in Mrs. Fridman's class acting out the story of Purim Klei Kodesh Yasher Koach to our Klei Kodesh this week for doing an outstanding job in leading us in the V'ahavta. Week of February 9, 2015 As the students continue to learn deeply and experience wholeness, we begin to read about Biddy Mason and the amazing woman that she was. In math, they have been focusing on fractions. During music, the students in Mrs. Biller's class did an outstanding job on their presentation on the American folk singer, Pete Seeger. Monday, February 16 - No School (President's Day) Week of February 2, 2015 What an exciting week this was! The students had an amazing time celebrating Tu B'shvat at Camp Alonim. They went rock climbing, Israeli dancing, and even completed a very challenging ropes course. What a wonderful day!
