Week of November 24, 2014 What a wonderful week we had! The students really enjoyed working and performing with their third grade buddies during MiDor l'Dor. They were also very excited to spend time in their classrooms with their special guests. It was truly an amazing day! We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! What a Character! The students have been working diligently on their book reports. Here are some of their amazing projects! Hebrew / Judaic Studies In Mrs. Fridman's class last week, the students wrote their own stories about a birthday party. Last week's Klei Kodesh did a fantastic job at leading us in the V'ahavta. Although this was a short week it was filled with plenty of learning and creativity. The students started their book reports. They learned to identify different character traits along with finding evidence from their books. Can't wait to see how the rest of their book reports turn out! This week's Klei Kodesh were Alexa, Ethan Saba and Jackie. They did a marvelous job of leading us in the V'ahavta. Way to go guys! Week of November 3, 2014 What an exciting week! We had a wonderful author, Betty G. Birney, come to visit the school and tell us all about her writing career. There were also elections for student council which the students were able to vote on. We even had elections of our own for the Student Council Third Grade representatives. Each class had many wonderful candidates that gave incredible speeches and at the end of the day two representatives from each class were elected. We are very excited to see what new and fun things they will do for Third Grade. We had two of our very own Third grade authors, Amber and Olivia, read the incredible books they wrote. So creative!
