Week of May 11, 2015 This week in Project Studio, the students learned about the first Jewish Angelenos. They were very excited and intrigued to learn about the Los Angeles Jewish history including the very first Synagogue that was built here. Below are some pictures of the students working diligently in groups while enriching their minds with new information about Jews in L.A. Wednesday, May 20 - Open House from 6 - 8 p.m. We hope to see you all there! Week of May 4, 2015 Let's make great happen everyday of the year! This week the third and first grade buddies had a pajama party together. They had milk and cookies, and had a wonderful time reading to each other. Thank You! In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we would like to thank our students for making our experience at Wise School so enjoyable and rewarding. We are so grateful to have a grade filled with such wonderful students who are always ready to learn deeply and make great happen. Wednesday, May 20 - 3rd Grade Open House Week of April 27, 2015 This week was filled with plenty of wise learning and exciting activities. The students learned to "keep a picture in your pocket and a poem in your head," and were very proud to recite the poems they learned to their First grade buddies. It was also, "Bring Your Pet (Stuffed Animal Pet) to School" on Wednesday in Mrs. Biller's class.
