Upcoming Events: -BeEarthWise - An Earth Day Event: April 20th from 2:30-4:30 -Family STEM Night: April 29th from 6:00-8:00 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pre K: We did not have Pre K this week due, but we look forward to seeing them again next week! Kindergarten: This week the students learned about how to take care of the Earth in preparation for Earth Day. We talked about different ways to reduce, reuse, and cycle, as well as how we can help make the world a better place. 1st Grade: This week we went to the garden. We harvested some crops, snd planted beans and corn in one of our beds! 2nd Grade: This week we reviewed information from our whale watching trip, looked at our new baby silk worms, and talked about Earth Day! 3rd Grade: This week we continued our unit on measurement. The students participated in stations where they practiced measuring temperature, mass, and volume/capacity. 4th Grade: This week the students continued to learn about the body systems. We had a "circulatory relay" that the students participated in to learn all about how blood pumps through our bodies. 5th: This week the students presented their energy resource projects! We are so excited to display them at STEM Night on April 29th! 6th Grade: This week the students turned in their data tables, charts, conclusions, and technology component. Next week we make our trifold boards and get ready for STEM Night!
