We’ve had quite the eventful week! On Monday, the whole school went out to the Israeli flag and had a moment of silence for Yom HaZikaron to honor those who have fought for the country of Israel. We lit a candle and sang Haitkvah. It was quite touching.
We also enjoyed some Israeli Dancing at American Jewish University on Monday. It was quite an exciting performance! After the show, the students practiced some Israeli dancing outside. It was a short and sweet field trip! On Thursday, we watched the 4th graders do an excellent performance to celebrate Israeli Independence Day. They incorporated everything from comedy, singing, and dancing. We sure have talented students! Lastly, students and parents celebrated the teachers for Yom Hamoreh. We had an assembly where teachers, students, and faculty honored Paula Frost, who will be retiring after 35 years of teaching at Wise School. She’s had quite the impact on many students and families and we are so happy to have had the pleasure of being a part of her time at Wise School. Shabbat Shalom!
