Kindergarten: This week we were reacquainted with the Science Lab and our very special friend, Bernardo the Bearded Dragon. We also learned how to take care of our school and the environment by recycling.
1st: This week we practiced our observation skills by taking a tour of the garden and drawing/writing about life that we saw. 2nd: This week we practiced our observation skills by taking a tour of the garden and drawing/writing about life that we saw. 3rd: This week we put our engineering skills to the test by participating in a Tower Design Challenge made completely out of notecards! The students worked through the Engineering Design Process by creating a plan through a modeled blueprint of their design, and brought their idea to life. The tower had to hold the weight of a toy car and be at least 50 cm. tall. 4th: This week we put our engineering skills to the test by participating in a Bridge Design Challenge made of only newspaper and tape! The students worked through the Engineering Design Process by creating a plan through a modeled blueprint of their design, and brought their idea to life. The bridge had to hold the weight of at least 3 science textbooks.
