Shabbat Shalom Families!
Although this was a short week, we still had a ton of fun! Your children explored painting while using roller brushes and big stamps, building different designs while using waffle blocks, and went on many "shopping" trips to the market, Whole Foods, and Target! One morning they got to play with the farm animals and the barns. They were all so excited to put the animals in for lunch time, a nap, and to play with their farm friends. The conversations amongst all the children was truly wonderful to observe. Another morning, they got to build using Legos and they worked together placing blocks on top of each other and discussing what they were making. One of the table top activities they seemed to really enjoy was the building bears and people. It is a blank board and they got to place different faces, shirts, and pants on them. The faces consisted of happy, sad, scared, and sick. We observed the children telling one another about the faces they were using and sharing with each other. There was also a lot of cooking going on this week. Your children used blocks, pretend food, and their wonderful imaginations to make cookies, pasta, mac and cheese, pizza, cake, cupcakes, and chicken. They were observed putting it in the microwave, cooking on the stove, and telling each other they needed to blow on it since it was too hot! Today for Shabbat, we had the Firstenberg-Khazaei Family join us and Noa was so excited to have her family celebrate with us. Thank you for bringing in snack and joining us for Shabbat. We hope you all of a nice weekend and we will see on Monday. Reminders: -Next week, February 22nd-26th is Grandfather's and Father's Week.
