The children spent some time making beautiful Matzah covers for your Seder’s at home.
We also, collected food for our Passover SOVA drive, and we enjoyed visiting our SOVA market. Thank you for sending your child to school with an item to donate to the SOVA bin for Passover. We felt a sense of great joy and pride that we were able to help others. We returned to class and read the book, Joey and the Giant Box by Deborah Lakritz and illustrated by Mike Byme. It was a wonderful way to reinforce the concept of mitzvot. We celebrated a lovely Shabbat in class and enjoyed a special Shabbat treat that James brought from home, it was delicious chocolate covered matzah. While in Temple we sang songs with Ditza, Rabbi Josh and Rabbi Sari. After we listened and watched a story about Passover. We hope that everyone has a wonderful Spring Break. See you in two weeks. Shabbat Shalom Happy Passover
