We have introduced the story of Purim and all its characters to the children. They are enjoying picking out their favorite characters and are looking forward to the coming week when we continue to explore all the many symbols Purim has to offer. Many of the children helped paint the walls to build the city of Shushan. They are excited to watch the castle go up on the wall, and they are looking forward to adding decorations to it in the coming week.
The children did an amazing job taking their pictures on Tuesday. After the rain helped to create mud for us out of our pools of soil, some of the children commented about it. Wednesday, we added dinosaurs for the children to use in the dirt/mud combination. The children also enjoyed baking blueberry muffins in the room. Friday we had a lovely Shabbat with Riana and her family. While in Temple we listened to Ditza sing a story about Purim. Shabbat Shalom Enjoy the long weekend T & T Reminders
