Shabbat Shalom Families!
While this was a short week, we still squeezed in tons of time for fun and learning! On Monday, Teacher Brock came to sing for us. We sang songs about Purim, worked on our ABC's, and danced around. During circle time, we continued to review the story of Purim and everyone has really been able to grasp the concept, retell parts of the story, and identify who everyone is. We also learned some new songs and "Down By the Bay" seems to be the classroom hit this week! Counting, identifying body parts, and singing has been so fun and your children are continuing to show their growth in these areas. For art, we explored using paint with new objects such as building tiles, cups, and sponges. We also got to practice learning more about letters and were able to put the letter stickers on pieces of paper. Your children played for the entire morning activity using the kitchen food, plates, and bowls. They all set up the big tables, sat down, and were observed having conversations about what they were making, eating, and playing with. It was truly rewarding to see everyone working together, sharing, and all the smiles! Today was Zev's special Shabbat and we would like to thank the Neuman family for bringing in snack and celebrating with us. It was wonderful to have you share the day with us. Wishing everyone a nice weekend and we will see you on Monday. Michelle & Jen Reminders: -The deadline for next years enrollment is quickly approaching so please be sure to enroll online as soon as possible. -Purim Carnival is this Sunday. Hope to see you all there!
