The children were very busy expressing their creative sides this week. They painted crowns and Haman hats that they wore during Shabbat. Many of the children enjoyed helping to make the dough for our Hamantashen. The next day all of the children had an opportunity to roll out dough and select a filling of their choice to make their very own Hamantashen.
We enjoyed a visit to the Library on Monday. We want to thank Jade’s mommy Lemor for reading to us. We really enjoyed listening to it. All of the children were so excited to show up to school each day dressed for Purim. They looked so adorable! They danced, sang and shook their handmade groggers in class. The children enjoyed sharing about and eating their hamantashen. We had a lovely Shabbat in class dressed up all together. We had a blast celebrating Purim on Thursday all together listening to the sixth graders read from the Megilah and watching our teachers act out the story. We also had a lot of fun putting together our Misloach Minot baskets. We had a lovely Shabbat in class and enjoyed singing Purim songs with Ditza and Cantor Emma and listened to a story read by Rabbi Sari.
