With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we have begun to discuss many of the holiday symbols, their meanings and what it means to be “thankful”. The children painted our turkey and have decorated feathers for his body. Many of the children were so excited to see him up on the wall. We will continue to talk about and sing songs for the holiday. We are also continuing to explore Fall. We have discussed how the leaves turn from green to yellow and red then they turn to brown by collaging with the leaves, allowing the children to have a visual example in our classroom. Our friends in room 22 are looking forward to our friendship feast next week on, Monday Novemer 21.
