Dear Ulpanon Bet Families, This week, we read the book Hakav Hashovav (The Mischievous Line), written by Dan and illustrated by Yan. The children worked interactively in small groups with whiteboards and markers to create the story from lines. They led a discussion about what shapes they can form from lines and how fun it is to add a shape or a line to an existing drawing to completely change the story. “Well… did you know that if you add eegulim (wheels) to a square and triangle you can make a house on wheels? Then you can drive everywhere!” I’m making a perach (flower) like the one in the book but I want to add round lines to make the leaves.” To end our year in a sweet way, we enjoyed ice cream outside on our patio. During Yoga with Cheryl, we went on an athletic adventure with Charlie the Cheerleader. The children practiced the Squat, Downhill Skier, and Extended Mountain poses. It was a beautiful Pre-K celebration! All the Pre-K classes came together as one to celebrate this special moment in their lives. Our Ulpanon friends sang with excitement and pride, eager to share their joy with parents and family. We want to wish you a great MAZAL TOV and B’Hatzlacha to the children on their year of deep, connected learning. May they always be happy and healthy! A warm Todah Rabah to you, our Ulpanon Bet parents, for taking this amazing Hebrew Immersion journey with us and for entrusting us with your children. We appreciate your support, feedback and open lines of communication. A special thank you to our Room Parent, Sally Cohanzad for her hard work. We will miss you! Please stay in touch. This is not goodbye, this is L’hitraot! B’Ahava, Shoshi and Meirav
