The children have enjoyed a short, fun filled, busy week. Monday, we were very excited that the final piece of steel for the Katz Family Pavilion was ready to go up. We’ve been watching the progress and it was awesome to see the building grow before our eyes! The children all walked up to where the beam was on display and had an opportunity to put a small drawing with their name next to it on the beam.
Even though Tuesday was a minimum day, we enjoyed music time with Andrew, fun on our patio yard and so much water play. The Topping Off Ceremony on what was once Baron Field also took place. The beam that the children signed Monday was raised with an Israeli and American flag, the traditional pine bough, and some blessings were said. The children helped Tania make some great fruit punch scented Kool-Aid playdough Thursday morning. Having another day of beautiful weather, the children enjoyed playing out on the patio yard. With the weather just perfect, the children all thought it would be a great idea to have a picnic on the patio for snack time. While out on the big yard, many of the children enjoyed some water play. We have found that many of the children’s boxes need some replenishing. Please be sure to take a look to see that what’s in the box still fits and that there is enough of everything (socks, underwear, shorts/pants, shirts, water shoes, diapers/pull-ups(if needed) and wipes). We enjoyed a lovely Shabbat with Ella A. her mom and grandmother. The children loved the fresh fruit for Shabbat snack and had a blast participating during Temple today with Ditza and Rabbi Josh. We want to thank all of you for giving us your time during parent-teacher conferences Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. Have a wonderful weekend! Shabbat Shalom, T & T IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES TO REMEMBER
