Chag Sameach! A Happy Thanksgiving to our Ulpanon Bet Family!
What a beautiful and spiritual holiday experience we have had! The Pre-K celebration was a blast. One teacher was dressed as a pilgrim and retold the holiday story. The children all shared their meaning of being thankful; they used the word “happy” to say ‘thank you’ for people or things we have. We enjoyed a delicious feast with all our Pre K friends at the Taub Annex, with a festive set-up for the holiday. In class, we read the book “Tiras Cham” (Hot Corn), by Miriam Ruth. After reading, the teachers acted out the story and said that the corn is missing! The children then searched for the hidden corn it the classroom. We enjoyed shucking the corn and eating it for snack. Thank you so much for bringing the food items for the holiday feast. Reminders:
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a restful weekend. B’vracha, Meirav and Shoshi
