This week was short and sweet. We took this time to say good-bye to Debbie and wish her a speedy recovery. On Wednesday, Debbie took the time to talk to the children during our circle time. She explained to them she had an ouchy in her eye and the doctors are going to take care of her. She told then she was going to miss them and will hopefully be back with us. The children all gave her their well wishes and said, “to feel better” and “to eat ice cream”. After lunch they all gave hugs and said good-bye. To further our love of community the children created an eye collage, which was made with paintings of all different color eyes. We took a group picture and sent it to Debbie. She called back right away and said she loved it. We will continue to update you all on behave of Debbie. Right now, she is home, resting and feeling okay. Thank you to everyone for being so kind and supportive during this transition.
