How exciting to eat snack in the sukkah! We were able to visit 2 Wise School Sukkot on campus. We listened to stories, looked at the beautiful art work by the elementary school students, ate snack and sang songs! Each child had the opportunity to smell the etrog, and shake the lulav. We talked about how the etrog represents the heart, the place of understanding and wisdom. The lulav refers to the backbone, uprightness. The myrtle refers to the eyes, enlightenment. The willow represents the lips, the service of prayer. Reminders:
No school Monday, October 5th in observance of Shemini Atzeret. Hope everyone is feeling better, stay healthy!
