Dear Parents,
It was such a pleasure being able to share so many experiences with the dads and grandpas in our class this week! Thank you so much to everybody who was able to make it; the children were so happy! The children have completed so many art projects and developed more fine and gross motor skills through this week’s activities! Firstly, the wonderful weather has permitted more outdoor play! With dads and grandpas we rode tricycles on the yard, ran with kites and explored the new climbing equipment. The students have also been loving the new games that we have for our table stations! Such as using tongs to feed plastic bananas to the monkey or carrots to the rabbit. We have also continued our lesson on senses by having bubble wrap taped on the floor for the students to step on and listen to the sounds. We will continue with these senses activities in the following weeks. The students have also been introduced to the idea of opposites this week! Although it is a challenging concept to explain, the students have been able to understand what we mean when we prompt them into filling in the blank. We have been talking about hot/cold, fast/slow, and stop/go. Lastly, thank you again to all of the dads and grandpas who joined us for the fun this week and our wonderful all school Shabbat! Reminder: Monday February 29th is picture day! Approximately three weeks after the photo date, you will receive step-by-step online ordering instructions. Photo opportunities for siblings will be offered Monday-Thursday from 8:00-8:45 only. Have a great weekend! Best wishes. Tatiana and Lashelle
