Dear Ulpanon Aleph Parents,
The week began with an EC wide Havdalah led by Jen Shankman. It is such a beautiful service and the children all enjoy singing the songs as a whole community. The children sat one by one at the art table and drew themselves, reviewing all the parts of their face while doing so. Panim (face), af (nose), sfataim (lips), pe (mouth), lchayaaim (cheeks), enayim (eyes), gabot (eyebrows), reesim (eyelashes), oznayim (ears). They then used the different colored leaves collected from our nature walk last week to create their searot (hair). The children continued working on their colors with the color sagol (purple). The children then made a collage using purple objects, working on their fine motor skills. We’ve also been working on a rainbow song where we sing about all the songs of the rainbow. We rounded up our week with our weekly specialists, Music with Marcos, Art with JoAnne, Yoga with Cheryl and Music with Ditza. Thank you to Aharon and his family who were our Shabbat Family. Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom, Gali, Mira and Miri Reminders: Blaire is our Shabbat girl, Friday, November 22nd Monday, November 18th—No School for Professional Development Day
