Dear Ulpanon Aleph Parents,
This week we talked a lot about friends and about giving thanks, in the spirit of Thanksgiving next week. We learned the song “Todah” (thank you) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ-59IW3zc4 The children continued working on their colors with the color varod (pink). The children then made a collage using pink objects, working on their fine motor skills. We’ve also been working on a rainbow song where we sing about all the colors of the rainbow. The children also had the opportunity to play with pink floam. We put out the scissors for the children to work on their fine motor skills while they rolled out the floam and made various shapes with it. On our rainy day, we spoke about the geshem (rain) and wore our jackets and used our umbrellas to walk to the Yoga studio, jumping in puddles on the way to/from. A special thank you to Itzhak's father, Phil and Eli's mother, Natalie, who were our Library readers this week. We set out a new toy, multiple wooden shapes in various sizes, and animals for the children to explore. They built different “houses” for the animals with the shapes. We rounded up our week with some of our weekly specialists, Yoga with Cheryl, Rabbi Sari and Music with Ditza. Thank you to Blaire and her family who were our Shabbat Family. Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom, Gali, Mira and Miri Reminders: Please bring your assigned item for our Thanksgiving Feast on Monday, November 25th Thanksgiving Feast (for the children only) on Tuesday, November 26th No School Wednesday-Friday, November 27th-29th for Thanksgiving EC BOOK FAIR SING-ALONG Wednesday, December 4 8 am - Breakfast in Udko 8:30 am - Community Sing-Along/Book Reading with Rabbi Sari in the Sanctuary ***Come dressed in your favorite character from a book!***
