Ulpanon Alef Ulpanon Alef is working on Tu B’shevat this week. We are learning about the parts of a tree and its functions. We planted beans in cotton with water in clear cups so that we can learn about the parts of a plant. Shoresh (roots) Geevol (stem) and, Aleem (leaves). The children made with their hands printing plants and added flowers to their painting. We discussed Dr. Martin Luther King Junior –and his dream for all people to be friends regardless of the color of their skin. Everyone has equal rights and are friends and should be included. We are practicing the story of Eliezer Veh Ha Gezer and the story of the Shkediyah tree. We are singing song about the rain(Geshem), clouds (annanim), wind(ruach) and flowers(prechim).
