This week in room 23 we said goodbye to Purim and welcomed our next holiday this year, Passover. This week at circle time we have been slowly introducing the new story and all of the new and interesting characters that come along with it. Characters such as mean Pharaoh and the brave and noble Moses. This week the children also got to participate in a fun and exciting activity. On Monday we all made the walk upstairs to put each of the children’s hand prints and names on one of the foundation beams of the new gym. We explained to the children that they would now be a special part of the new gymnasium forever. The weather was so lovely this week and the children had such a fun time playing at the water table again and running around outside in the sun. At the water table can learn about matter, its properties and how it has the ability to change. It is also a great opportunity to be creative and comfortable exploring new materials. Next week we are going to be jumping into more Passover fun so don’t forget to check out the classroom walls for some of our new Passover creations!
