We had so much fun last week celebrating Purim and dressing up. In room 23 we had a: purple cat, princess Jasmine, Dorothy, tiger, a butterfly princess, the Hulk and a firefighter! The children were excited to share their costumes with one another and go into our Shushan Castle wearing their costumes. This week we have talked a lot about manners and being kind to our friends. The children have started saying "bless you" when they hear a friend or teacher sneeze. We are also continuing to not eat snack until all the friends are served. They are all learning so much, and being so kind to their friends in the class, and others around school. We also enjoyed a yummy trip to the Farmers Market, we had a full tray of strawberries, melons, grapes and berries to share with everyone! Thank you to the parents who brought grapes, and gave $1 tzedakah. All money goes to BIS in Israel. Last week, Skyla was our Shabbat girl, and brought her mom and sister to school to join in the Purim fun. The children enjoyed watching the teachers act out the Purim story and dance throughout the celebration. This week Olivia was our Shabbat girl, she brought her mom, dad, grandma and Aunt to share in the Shabbat fun. Everyone enjoyed the purple grape juice! Reminders: Our Passover Seder will be on Wednesday, April 13th at 11:00. There is a food and volunteer sign-up sheet in the classroom. Each child is invited to bring 2 guests to the Seder. Our last day of school before Spring Break is Friday, April 15th. We return on Monday, May 2nd. Thank you
Ashley & Gali
