It is wonderful to be back at Wise School. We hope you enjoyed your Passover and Spring Break. We jumped back into discussing the beautiful warm weather of Spring, and talking about caterpillars and butterflies. The children have always enjoyed interacting with ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ felt story. One day when we noticed a caterpillar outside, we had a fun thought, “Lets get butterflies in our classroom!”The children watched the eggs hatch into chickens, so we thought it would be a fun learning moment to watch caterpillars turn into butterflies. We will keep you posted on our butterfly adventures! We spent a lot of time this week discussing Israel and Yom Ha’atzmaut. We will be celebrating Israel’s 69th Birthday on Tuesday! Please dress your child in blue and white. We will have a special Israeli snack, and bake a delicious birthday cake for Israel. The children have seen pictures and have made their own flags of Israel. We talked about the blue and white colors and the Stars of David. Thank you to our Wonderful Shabbat Family! Reminders:
