With the record-breaking temperatures this week, our friends in Room 24 have had the opportunity to explore all kinds of exciting water play outside. Water play is one of the most relaxing activities for our little ones. In addition to it being relaxing, it encourages our children to use their imagination, (car wash, window washing) their social skills and to be outside independently with friends and teachers. There’s a silver lining to everything ;-) It's amazing how much progress we have seen in the past two weeks. While at school your children are learning many new and important skills. They are learning to ask for help from a teacher, to wait their turn while another friend is playing with a toy or doll that they REALLY want, they are learning to be part of a group, and they are learning about personal space. We have heard from many of you that your children are taking long naps after school. Emotionally, learning and practicing these new skills can be HARD work. They are all doing so well! Our primary goal in the classroom, at this point, is to continue building trusting relationships with you and your children! Thank you to Ali and Michelle for the wonderful healthy snacks. It is so appreciated! Shabbat Shalom! Sue & Judy ReminderEarly Childhood Enrichment
