We had another great, busy and fun-filled week in Room 24.
On Monday, Brock, our music teacher, came by with his guitar and sang songs with our friends. We did a little Hokey Pokey, ABC's, a new aleph bet song, just to name a few. Everyone seems to be getting used to and loving our music time with teacher Brock. Lots of singing and dancing! We also had the opportunity to visit the Discoverers yard next door. The children had a great time exploring this new yard. Many of them climbed up the rope ladder to the big slide, while others used the stairs to get up to the big slide. They rode on bicycles and trucks. There was a new sand box to discover and dig in. They all loved the challenge and adventure of visiting the “big yard”. Starting this week, on Wednesdays, the children will have the opportunity to cook, bake and/or make fresh seasonal foods with teacher Elizabeth in Room 21. This week fresh guacamole was on the menu. The kids had a blast. We had a delicious snack of guacamole and chips. It was so delicious! Celebrating Shabbat together is always a very special time. We turn off the lights, sing Shabbat songs, light candles, hold up our pretend kiddish cup, say the prayer over the wine, and sing Ha Motzi. It's so sweet to see our little ones covering their eyes as we say the blessing over the candles. Thank you for bringing in Tzedakah, SOVA and healthy snacks. We really appreciate and thank you for all of your support. Shabbat Shalom, Judy and Sue
