Dear Parents,
What a wonderful week we had! As always, our week continued to revolve around being respectful, good listeners and the importance of kindness to one another. To help continue to instill these values, we have been working as a team to build our robot. Your children have to come up with ideas and learn to compromise when deciding what materials we are going to use for the different parts of the robot. They are taking turns, sharing materials, working on their creativity and patience. We are excited to watch the robot continue to grow and transform as their ideas become more creative. Stay tuned!! This week we focused on strengthening our fine motor skills. Those that are already writing are learning to write and spell their last name, while others are continuing to work on learning to write and draw the basic shapes and lines. Our circle time starts off by introducing ourselves by saying our first and last name and how old we are. The children have been doing so well and we are so proud when we hear them introduce themselves using full sentences. They are continuing to practice spelling their names and recognizing the letters within. We had a wonderful music class with Andrew and our friends from Room 14. We played many instruments, danced around and marched as if we were on a train. On Thursday, we had a great time with Rabbi Josh and our friends from Room 13. On Friday, we had a beautiful Shabbat and enjoyed our time together. We hope everyone has a great weekend! See you on Wednesday. Shabbat Shalom! REMINDERS: -NO SCHOOL on Monday February 19th and Tuesday February 20th.
