We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for coming to the party on Wednesday and for all of your support. It is very rewarding for us to see the bond that you have with your children, because it directly reflects on your children and their experiences here in school.
As we had all of you in the class, we were able to see this bond, and we can say that it is the same that is growing within our classroom. We have now been with your children for more than 4 months, and we are amazed by the fact that they are so close and that they have built amazing friendships throughout the class. From the first day, they welcomed each other as well as the new students that came from a new school. This week especially, we have noticed how important it is for them to form a connection during play or lunch or even when making a collective decision. They are mindful and respectful of each other’s feelings and desires. We see it, for example, when we are working on recognizing letters. When someone does not know what letter they are looking at, they are comfortable asking a friend for help. They are not embarrassed and do not feel shame, because we are all accepting and know that not everyone is the same. The children are developing a keen understanding that everyone is important and needs to be respected. We want to wish you a happy Hanukkah and very enjoyable and restful break. We will miss you all and will see you in 2020. Shabbat shalom Anne and Bam.
