Dear Parents,
What a fun filled, busy week of Purim celebrations we had! Our week started with a beautiful Havdalah service along with all our Explorer classes. Pajama day, superhero day, crazy hair day, Purim characters and free choice dress up days were a huge success. We had many conversations about Purim and a lot of your children have been retelling the story and discussing it while engaging in play with castle! Throughout the week, your children continued to work on their ideas for the rocket-ship we will be building, and they are learning how to problem solve and work together to come up with their ideas. Yoga and music were a blast as always. We learned new yoga positions and our adventure guides (stuffed animals) throughout the Yoga class were all the Purim characters. We went on our airplanes and flew to Shushan, where we got to try out each characters favorite Yoga positions. We got to celebrate together in Temple on Thursday, where some of the teachers and clergy members acted out the story of Purim. We laughed, sang, danced and shook our groggers. On Friday, we spend a wonderful Shabbat together as a class, as well as celebrated Alexandra’s birthday! Shabbat Shalom! REMINDERS: Wednesday, March 27th- is a half day. Dismissal is at 12pm. Please be sure to arrive a few minutes early, as the parking lot might get a little crowded. Parent/Teacher conferences Thursday, March 28th- NO SCHOOL- Parent/Teacher conferences.
