Dear Room #12 Parents,
We hope all of you enjoyed a wonderful Passover/Spring break and it was marvelous seeing everyone back to school on Monday. We started our day by asking each child separately what they did over the break when they were not at school. We documented their responses and posted them for you to see on our front window. Please take some time to stop by and read what they all had to say. We have been talking about Earth Day all this week. Your children are beginning to understand the importance of “taking care” of the earth by recycling items we use every day. We also talked about how big the earth is and by using a globe, we were able to point out to the children where we live, and where other people live as well. On Thursday, April 23rd, we will be celebrating Yom Ha’Atzmaut with all the classes in the Witzman Building. We will be putting out a sign-up sheet for food items to go along with the cake we will be baking for this special celebration. Brock will also be there with his guitar to assist us on this day. We loved our time at the Max Hess Library because developing a child’s interest in books is a basic skill we teach all of our students. We wish all of you a great weekend as we say Shabbat Shalom. Cindy & Miriam
