Dear Room #12 Parents,
On Monday, your children painted folders which will store all their art work for our school year. We will keep these folders at school as your children will be responsible to make sure the art work they do is placed in their own folder. These folders will go home with them at the end of our school year together. We are learning the days of the week, the days we come to school, as well as the days we don’t come to school. Your children are also learning the sequence of the days as in…”if today is Wednesday, what day will it be tomorrow.” It might sound easy, however, it’s not. Sequencing is a pre-reading skill, and your children are at the perfect age to begin to understand and absorb this skill. All the learning taking place in Room #12 is done in a fun and exciting way for your children. On Tuesday, our class went to tricycle express for the very first time this school year. It was a huge success; please stop by to look at the pictures we took of your very cute children. On Wednesday we went to the Max Hess Library once again. The children were read to and then were able to look through other books on their own. Please remember the schedule next week….Om Thursday, October 30th class will dismiss at 12:00 for parent teacher conferences. There will be no school for the children on Friday, October 31st for conferences as well. WE URGE YOU TO PLEASE BE ON TIME FOR YOUR CONFERENCES AS WE ARE ON A TIGHT SCHEDULE AND WE WANT TO ACCOMMOTADE ALL OUR FAMALIES. THANK YOU. Please enjoy a great weekend as we say Shabbat Shalom. Cindy & Miriam
