We started our week by singing and dancing with Brock. Our friends are actively participating and loving the music and movement. Music is a great way of bringing everyone together and helps our friends interact with one another.
We also had a practice shelter in place drill this week. We told the children that we were practicing being in our safe place, which is the closet. We put a blanket down, had snack and read a book. They all did a great job! On Friday, we celebrated Shabbat in our class and then walked to Temple. Going to Temple on Friday mornings is very special. We sang Shabbat songs with Ditza and Rabbi Josh. The children are learning the Sh'ma and many other Shabbat traditions. Once the children become more comfortable, we will invite parents to join, as well. We are confident that celebrating Shabbat as a community will be a great and meaningful experience for the children. Thank you to Golareh and Remi for the wonderful fresh fruit. We so appreciate it! We are looking forward to our Thanksgiving feast on Monday. Please remember to bring in your assigned food. Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom and an awesome weekend! Sue and Judy
