Our week has been short, sweet, fun and busy! We started talking about Thanksgiving in relation to being thankful for our friends. We talked about about how happy we are to play together, have snack together, sing and have story time together. Sharing the spirit of gratitude with your children will help them appreciate their family and friends. We did discover that many in our class are thankful for bugs. Talk to your little ones about what you are thankful for and ask them what they are thankful for! On Wednesday, we shucked corn, cooked it, had it for snack and also did an art project with the husks. A fun time was had by all, every step of the way! On Monday, November 24, we will be having our Thanksgiving Feast. There is a sign up sheet in the class. If you haven't already, please sign up to bring a delicious treat. The Thanksgiving feast will be for children only. We will celebrate Hanukkah together in our classroom on December 17. Everyone will be welcome to join us. More details to follow. Thank you to Michelle, Asher and Rosie for the wonderful healthy snacks. Our group definitely enjoys snack time. Also, thank you for being so considerate and keeping your children home when they are not feeling well. We hope you have a great weekend. Shabbat Shalom! Sue and Judy Reminders A special reminder from Marla:We have two exciting events coming up next week and I look forward to seeing all of you there:
