Dear Parents, We enjoyed Music with Andrew, playing peekaboo with the colorful scarves, wearing bells on our wrists to create a different sound, and using mallets and bells as well. Teacher Andrew also took out the parachute and we marched around in a circle shaking the parachute up and down. We celebrated Teacher Debbie’s birthday by singing Happy Birthday to her and also having a sweet little treat in honor of her special day. Friendships are really starting to blossom in the classroom, with children starting to play together a little more, and the children asking where specific children are who are absent on any given day. If one child dresses up in our Housekeeping area, we always have other children following suit, so we’re surrounded by Princesses and Super Heroes on a frequent basis in room 24. Another favorite amongst our friends is to play under the slide in the sandbox, where we’ll often find two or three friends building a sandcastle or laughing together. We had playdough out on the table with fall cookie cutters for the children to roll out and make their own leaves. They worked so hard on flattening out the dough to make it long enough to cut the shapes. We had so much fun on Pajama Day, staying warm and cozy on a cool Fall day. The children all loved seeing what their friends were wearing. We went to Shabbat services and sang along with Ditza and Rabbi Josh. Shabbat Shalom, Debbie, Erika and Gali Reminders: Monday, November 13th School is closed for Professional Development Day. Thursday, November 16th is the Holiday Boutique. It will be held in the brand new gymnasium!
