Dear Parents,
Even thought this was a short week, we continued to learn about the holiday of Tu B'Shevat. The New Year of the Trees is a time to celebrate, respect and admire the trees and plants that God created. We started doing projects dealing with planting, and nature. Your children planted seeds and they had an opportunity to choose if they want to plant beans, corn, flowers or herbs. They are all excited to find out which seeds will grow first. On Monday, we, along with the rest of the Explorer classes are going to celebrate Tu B’Shevat with a special Seder. Your children will have a chance to taste different kind of fruits in one day. We are looking forward to celebrate with all our friends. We hope you all have a great weekend and Shabbat shalom.
