Dear parents,
We started off our week talking about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We have discussed the importance of how we all need to get along, be respectful and kind to one another. Your children had a great time playing colors and shapes Bingo. Everyone had so much fun and at the same time they are not only learning shapes and colors, but also patience, taking turns and having to focus during the game. The weather has been chilly but nice so we all had fun riding tricycles at the Baron Field. On Tuesday, your children baked their own apple turnovers. It was such a pleasure to watch them cut the apples, roll the dough and form their own turn- over. They were quite good too. After our visit to the library where Ella and Sydney’s mom read to the children, we all went to the big garden to release some lady bugs. Thursday was especially busy. We decided to make pasta and cheese for snack. And while we waited for the sauce to cook, our friends from room 13 and 14 came to our classroom where we heard Rabbi Josh tell us about the upcoming holiday of Tu B’Shevat. We hope you all enjoy a long weekend with your family as we say, Shabbat shalom!
