.Dear Parents,
As Tu B'Shevat approaches, the children have been actively involved in all their activities. Your little Authors have been spending quality time on their books and finishing up their illustrations. They are eagerly waiting to share them with the class and to then bring them home. The children have painted their sculpted trees. When they finished, the children used crayons and drew a replica of their sculpted tree and decided which fruits they wanted on it. By doing this, their fine motor skills were being strengthened and their eye-hand coordination was being challenged. It's always beneficial to encourage your children to use scissors(with supervision), have crayons, pencils, and markers accessible at home to promote their fine motor development. Being exposed to these materials will benefit them greatly. Our Tu B'Shevat celebration was a success! Singing songs with Teacher Andrew and a story with Rabbi Josh, was loved by all. The children enjoyed different fruits, and we were all blessed to eat outside and enjoy the sunshine. On Friday our all school Shabbat was filled with so much love. We would like to thank all the Dads and Grandfathers for joining us throughout the week, the time spent in the classroom, and during Shabbat, these were memorable moments for your children.
