Dear Parents,
What a fun week back we have had! Your children have not only grown in height, but in maturity as well. They missed being at school and around their friends, and it is very rewarding to watch them play calmly, cooperatively and engage in conversations. We have been stepping back and really observing how much they have truly grown. From conflict resolution, coloring in the lines, being able to independently spell out their names and properly introduce themselves, their growth shows. Their patience and focus has grown during fine motor activities as well. We have noticed that their interests have changed within their play choices. They seem to prefer the fine motor activities and puzzles over other manipulatives. We can see that they have been practicing coloring within the lines and really taking their time. Your children are very excited to show us their work throughout the entire process and they have become very proud of themselves for taking their time, just as an artist does. We had music with Andrew and our friends in room 14. We sang silly songs and played different instruments while dancing around. We have started our Spring creative expressions, which will be explored more throughout next week in many different ways. This art activity was about drawing and exploring Spring season using watercolors. During this time, your children were very focused on their painting, while patiently waiting for their next color to become available. They had to call out their friends name and ask for what they needed and then wait for them to finish and pass them the color. Their verbal interpretation of what they painted showed their understanding about the spring lesson and what the spring season brings. Next week, we will be getting messy during our art activities. Please send in an extra pair of shorts or pants that you are okay with getting messy. We have the big shirts here for them to wear that you have previously sent in and we can use the same bottoms during the week. Thank you in advance. Thank you to Levi, Leo and both of their families for spending a beautiful Shabbat with us. Shabbat Shalom! REMINDERS: -April 14th- Tot Shabbat -May 4th- half day..dismissal is at 12pm
