Dear Parents,
Once again, our week started off with a beautiful Havdalah. It is amazing to see how the Explorer children come together and welcome the week with a smile on their faces. Since Rabbi Sari was not able to join us this week, we had the opportunity and pleasure to spend time with Rabbi David Woznica. He told a story about how G-d is always your best friend, no matter if it is in a time of sadness or joy. This week, your children continued to work on their pinecone turkeys by adding the eyes and nose. Next week, we will be adding on the feathers and then they will be ready to go home. They also completed their handmade bowls by painting them and adding on some drip art once it was dry. Stay tuned for the final product next week. During circle time, we discussed what Thanksgiving means about everyone shared what they were thankful for. Be sure to check it out inside our classroom, on the back door. On Friday, we had a wonderful Shabbat together and thank you to Alexandra and her family for celebrating with us. Shabbat Shalom! REMINDERS: -Friendship Feast (children only)- Tuesday, Nov. 20th- Please make sure to bring what you signed up for by Tuesday morning at drop off. Thank you! -Thanksgiving Break: Wednesday Nov. 20th- Friday Nov. 23rd: NO SCHOOL
