Dear Parents,
Our week started off with Havdalah in the Temple. We sang, said the blessings and started the week off by being together. Throughout this week, we have been working on two of our process art projects. The first was to add another new color to our pinecone Thanksgiving turkey. The second one was a clay activity. Your children had to roll, flatten and pound the clay down and strengthen their fine motor skills by using a mold to create the shape of a bowl. During this activity, some were very excited, while others expressed how tired they were, and it was too much work! Everyone’s creations came out beautiful and unique in their own way. Stay tuned for the final products to be sent home before Thanksgiving. Over the weeks, some of your children have been creating their own picnic in our kitchen area and this past week, we have seen a tremendous growth. Their ability to compromise, work together, decide on where items will go, who will cook, who will serve and who oversees making sure the babies are well taken care of. We are excited to watch them continue to grow and where their imagination will lead them. Rabbi Sari shared a story with us and talked about different ways that we can make Shabbat special. On Friday, we had our first Shabbat family and would like to thank Ben and his family for sharing this special day with us. Shabbat Shalom
