Dear Parents,
We started our week off with another wonderful Havdalah service, where we lit the last candle on the Hanukkiah, sang the last of our Hanukkah songs and shared in welcoming the new week. Throughout this week, your children have been busy working on their fine motor skills through painting and drawing, enhancing their creativity skills and collaborating with their peers. During circle time, your children are working on learning about opposites and prepositions. We met with Rabbi Sari and our friends in Room 12. Rabbi Sari shared a story about the hardest word (Sorry) and why it can be so hard to say. She explained that sometimes it is difficult for us to have to admit that we did something wrong or that we hurt a friend, and how saying sorry is important so that we can learn from it and try our best next time. On Friday, we got to go to the Farmer’s Market where your children picked out some yummy fruits and treats. We then had a beautiful Shabbat spent together with our class. Shabbat Shalom!
