I am not sure who was more excited to come back from Spring Break, your children or the teachers! It was amazing to see how they all have grown in size and almost ready for Kindergarten. They all walked in remembering to do all their responsibilities like signing in! It was exciting to hear about how everyone spent their two weeks.
We returned with a letter back from President Barak Obama. We had written him a letter as a class during our learning about President’s Day. The kids asked questions and gave statements about being President. Stop by and read the letter and see the pictures he sent all of us. It was fascinating for the kids to hear what he had written, and see all the spectacular items he had sent back to us. What an amazing experience for all of us. We have started learning about Yom Haatzmaut. Israel’s birthday is coming up! We will be celebrating with a big event. We will be having an Israeli Shuk where the kids will be able to get the experience of being in Israel and buying foods from this special place. This will be a lot of fun and we cannot wait. We hope you all received the Scholastic book orders we sent home this week. It is a wonderful opportunity to order educational materials and books for our children who are getting ready to start their Elementary school education.
